For teams with a live product and an AWS bill of about $5,000 a month or more.
Free AWS bill check
Every dollar on your AWS bill you could stop paying, in 48 hours
One read-only template in your own AWS account. A senior engineer checks every dollar against your invoice. You keep the report either way.
- Nothing changes until you approve it
- Remove our access in one click
- Month to month, no exit fee
Read-only, free
No savings, no fee
The check is free and uses a read-only role. If it finds nothing worth cutting, the report says so and you owe nothing. If we make the cuts and the invoice does not go down, there is no fee.
- Your account, your bill and your payment method stay where they are
- Delete the role and our access ends at once
What the check reads, and what it never touches
Read-only. Open a row to see what we can read, and what we never touch.
We read
- Every invoice line, by service and region
We never see or touch
- Payment details. We cannot buy or change anything
A finding looks like
Unused storage: 11 disks, 14 months of snapshots. $640 a month.
example, not a real client
We read
- Size, type and running hours, against three months of use
We never see or touch
- The data inside. We cannot start, stop or resize anything
A finding looks like
Main database at 9% average use, still sized for launch week. $1,180 a month.
example, not a real client
We read
- Disks nothing uses, snapshot age, buckets nobody reads
We never see or touch
- The files themselves. We cannot delete anything
A finding looks like
214 snapshots older than a year, from servers that no longer exist. $310 a month.
example, not a real client
We read
- Transfer charges by region and service
We never see or touch
- Your traffic. We cannot change network rules
A finding looks like
Backups crossing a paid gateway on the way to storage. $860 a month.
example, not a real client
We read
- Each commitment, what it covers, and when it ends
We never see or touch
- We cannot buy or cancel a commitment
A finding looks like
Servers that run all month at the full hourly price. $1,390 a month.
example, not a real client
What you get
The report is the product. A senior engineer checks it line by line against your actual invoice, and you keep it even if you never hire us.
- Every dollar you could stop paying, ranked, each with an amount per month.
- For each line: how much work it is, whether it needs downtime, and who on your team could do it.
- Which long-term discounts would pay off, sized to your lowest month, and which ones would not.
- Exactly what we looked at, and written confirmation once our access is removed.
Example report (not a real client)
Example only. Company name and numbers are made up to show the format.
| Finding | Per month | Effort |
|---|---|---|
| Storage nobody uses: 11 unattached disks and 14 months of old snapshots | $640 | Small, no risk, your team or us |
| Main database sized for launch week, now at 9% average use | $1,180 | Medium, 15-minute maintenance window |
| Servers that run all month at the full hourly price | $1,390 | Small, 1-year discount sized to your lowest month |
Example monthly bill $14,820, possible saving from these three lines $3,210 a month.
If you want us to make the cuts
We just keep 25% of what we saved you
The check is free. If you want us to make the cuts, we bill a share of what you save and nothing else. You keep the other 75%.
- Measured on your real AWS invoice, against your own bill from the three months before we start
- Discounts you already have are not counted
- You approve every change in writing before we make it
- Stop any month, and our share ends
Example: the invoice goes from $14,820 to $12,820, a drop of $2,000.
Who it's for
- A live product with real users on it, not a side project or a prototype.
- An AWS bill of about $5,000 a month or more. Google Cloud and Azure work too.
- No one whose job is the bill. Usually a developer handles the servers between features, or a founder does it at night.
If your bill is smaller, the free 10-minute bill checklist gets you most of the way, and we tell you so.
What happens after
You get the report by email, and a short call if you want one. We ask once whether you want us to make the cuts. If you don't, you keep the report, do the fixes yourself, and we confirm our access is removed.
If we cut the bill, the next step is a free server review for clients: backups, alerts, old logins and updates, checked the same way. Fix what it finds with us only if you want. Every price is on the pricing page.
Questions before you connect anything
Why is it free?
Software does the slow part, reading every line of the bill. A senior engineer's time goes into checking the findings against your invoice. We only get paid if you ask us to make the cuts: we just keep 25% of what we saved you.
Is it safe to give you access?
The check uses read-only access only. We cannot change anything or read your customer data, and every request we make shows up in your own AWS activity log (CloudTrail), which we cannot edit.
My developer could do this.
Probably, and the report is written so they can. What usually stops it is time: this work competes with the roadmap and keeps losing. The report gives them a ranked list with dollar amounts, so the first hour goes to the line that matters most.
Do you push us to buy something?
We ask once. If you say no, that is the end of it. Every price is on the pricing page before you start.
What if you find nothing?
Then the report says so, and you owe nothing. A clean bill is useful to know too, before a budget meeting or a fundraise.
How we work with your systems
You stay in control
Read-only access first
The free bill check needs read access and nothing else. Nothing in your systems changes.
You approve every change
Each change comes as a short written note first: what, why, and how to undo it.
Your data and billing stay yours
Everything stays in your own account. We never become your billing contact.
Every action logged
Every action we take is logged, and the log is visible to you.
One-click access removal
Delete the access role and our access ends at once, with no penalty.
Month to month
There is no minimum term and no exit fee. Stop at the end of any month.
