Hiring the wrong help costs more than the invoice. Here is who we are not built for, and what we would do in your place.

Your hosting bill is under about $2,000 a month

Our work would cost more than it saves you. Do this instead:

Run the 10-minute bill check once a quarter.
Prove your backups work with the restore test guide.
Set a spending alert in your cloud account, and turn on two-factor sign-in for every admin login.

Between about $2,000 and $5,000 a month, the free review can still be worth it, especially if you have paying customers and nobody owns the servers. Below that, the guides will get you most of the way.

You want a guaranteed percentage before anyone has seen your bill

We don't make that promise, because nobody can honestly make it. If a guaranteed number matters more to you than how it is measured, look for a provider that offers one, and read how they measure it and what happens when you leave.

You want free cloud credits

We don't sell or arrange credits. Your cloud provider's own startup program, or your investor or accelerator, is the right place to ask.

You want someone to change things without asking

Every change here is approved by you first. If you want a team that just gets on with it and reports afterwards, we will feel slow to you.

You need a large team on call around the clock today

We are a small senior team and say so up front. If you need many engineers on shift at once, a larger managed service provider or your own on-call rotation is the better fit.

You need a certified vendor

We do not hold SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification today. If your contracts require a certified vendor, choose one that holds it. See how we handle access and security.

You want to hand over the whole platform and never think about it

We look after the hosting side: backups, monitoring, access, updates, releases and the bill. We don't build your product or replace your engineering team. If you need a full outsourced development team, hire one.
